Synopsis

Bewitched Agatha Harkness regains her freedom thanks to the help of a teenager. Intrigued by her pleading, he sets off on the Witches' Attempts to regain strength and discover the motivations of the teenager. I came to Agatha All Along without preconceived ideas or looking into the story. So it wasn’t until I dug deep and watched episode 6 (?) that I realized it had something to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe – specifically WandaVision.

I felt cheated and outraged. Well, after I got engaged to Agatha All Along, I stopped and had to watch WandaVission. While WandaVision has some critical elements like Agatha All Along’s story, it’s quite tangential (and – IMO – a much lesser show than Agatha All Along). Well, I finished E6 and then got into E7-E9 and I really have to give.

The acting is excellent in every way, with Hahn outstanding as Agatha

The sets are not rhythmic, they have an original perspective as the show progresses. Most of all the trials the characters go through and their growth is well done. The show maintains an engaging adult story line, without the usual sugar coating where everyone is okay in the end. While I don’t think it was necessary to join the MCU, it is what it is.

I would probably watch a second season

And it doesn’t detract too much from the overall show. Check out "Yellowstone" Season 5, Episode 2, "Squid Game" Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new and returning series on TV and streaming.
