KJ and Dan are trying to connect. Several years into a strained relationship, a couple takes a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to discover a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a sticky trap. They disagree on how to handle it, with KJ recommending a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a petite woman who can be kindly described as «eccentric» – she’s their host’s younger sister and had no idea anyone was staying at the family cabin.
