The film was shot on location at historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round

The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick’s Barbecue Restaurant are also the family’s real-life stores.

Very good movie nothing else to watch on Saturday something to watch on Hallmark very good movie to watch I hope I watch it again I don’t care what anyone says I like this movie and it’s something to watch on TV because there’s nothing else to watch on Saturday so when I turn this channel and I see this movie I have to watch it just sit on the couch and have some hot chocolate and cookies relax and I also think the acting was very good and a lot of people will say it’s boring but I wasn’t bored any other time when someone watches Christmas movies they say the acting was boring but that’s not true a lot of Christmas movies are good this should be Hallmark’s number one Christmas movie in the world I’m just putting it out there and I’m going to get some hateful comments thumbs down okay like I care about your opinion I’m not just saying how I feel.
